2. An invisible, deadly gas is leaking into our Earth’s atmosphere.
Helping to cause our planet to overheat, unnaturally.
The gas is called methane.
“Fracking,” a process used to extract hydrocarbons from the planet, is a major source of methane.
Since methane is invisible, we have often overlooked it.
We can’t see it, so it mustn’t be there.
But it is.
Causing our environment to overheat.
Shortening lives and challenging hope.
The following paintings and drawings resulted from my attempts to make this gas visible.
In my mind.
In our minds.
If we can imagine it, we can rid ourselves of it.
