 มี 4 แบบ
 o. general truth or specific fact
- ใช้กับสถานการณ์ที่เป็นความจริงสุดๆ เปลี่ยนแปลงอะไรไม่ได้
 1. real or very probable situation in present or future
- ใช้กับประโยคคาสงั่, สถานการณ์ที่เป็นเหตุเป็นผล เป็นไปได้ในปัจจุบัน หรือ
อนาคต
 2. unreal present
- ใช้กับสถานการณ์ที่ตรงข้ามกับความจริงในปัจจุบัน
 3. unreal past
- ใช้กับสถานการณ์ที่ตรงข้ามกับความจริงในอดีต

4. EXAMPLES
 If you touch fire, you burn
yourself.
 If he touches fire, he burns

 Snakes bite, if they are scared.

27. ข้อควรจำสำหรับกำรใช้ unless แทน if….not
 1 เมื่อใช้ unless แทน if….not ในประโยค Conditionals
ชนิดใดก็ตามโครงสร้างประโยค If Clause จะเป็นแบบ บอกเล่ำ
เสมอแต่ ควำมหมำย จะเป็น ปฏิเสธ เสมอ
 2 สามารถใช้ unless แทน if…not ในประโยค
Conditionals ได้ทัง้ 4 ชนิด
 3 สามารถใช้ unless แทน if…not ในประโยคโดยตัด if กับ
not ออกไปแล้วนา unless มาไว้หน้าประโยคส่วนคาอื่นๆในประโยค
ก็เหมือนเดิม

things cannot live.

29. EXAMPLE
1. Real or very probable situation in present or future
 If she doesn’t eat too much, she
will not be fat.
 Unless she eats too much, she
will not be fat.

30. 2. unreal present
EXAMPLE
 If Jenny did not go to Venice,
she was not happy like this.
Unless Jenny went to Venice,
she was not happy like this

31. 3. unreal past
EXAMPLE
 If I hadn’t met you before, we
wouldn’t have stayed together.
Unless I had met you before, we
wouldn’t have stayed together.
