Merchandising:

During my internship at Enzee boutique, I learned new jewelry merchandising skills. The jewelry cases
should have as much jewelry in it as possible without it looking messy. It is also good to have a focal point
in the case, probably the biggest or most flashy item that would catch the customers eye as they were
passing by. I liked to throw in interesting diagonal lines, not just vertical, to give the display a more interest-
ing look and break up the linear lines.
When merchandising the clothing on the display racks, I learned to use the brightest and trendiest
garments so customers would see them first. Behind this garment should be something similar, but
perhaps a different color which could be worn with the previous garment. This will entice customers to
look behind other merchandise. To begin merchandising and accessorizing the garments, I learned to think
about what accessories I would wear with the garment.
