you can add it to your tuition bill by buying a Cougar Cash Meal plan
for $300, $500, $800, or $1000.

16. It’s important to note that for all meal plan housing the lowest price option and most
beneficial is the Cougar Cash option at $1350.
Based on my own calculations the cost per month for food expenditure for a single
person household is $300-$400. This gives a little extra room in the budget for
unexpected expenditures.
Taking this data into account we can estimate food expenses at 4 months (JanuaryApril, September-December) coming out to an estimated $1200-$1600.
This data might be higher than expected however. What I am taking into account is
based on the current weekly expenditure on grocery bills for me and my mother.
We eat a high protein diet based on scientific data that indicates a healthy diet is
to focus on protein and fat rather than a carbohydrate based diet as the USDA
current indicates as the national standard.
This data also indicates that the body tends to struggle with processed foods and
foods rich in grains (i.e. high fructose corn syrup, sugars, and oatmeal).
For more information on why grains are unhealthy please visit:

*This data has been modified to account for a person living in a single family unit according to the suggested USDA standards.
As one could see this rate could easily explain a difference in cost for living expenditures at a
glance.
The USDA standards indicate that a primary source of food intake is carbohydrates.
Carbohydrate rich products tend to be typically much cheaper than all others (i.e. rice, bread,
pasta).

Coming fresh out of college with no job owing someone I don’t know $48,230 is a
bit mind shattering.
Not to mention the interest.
It’s an interesting perspective for anyone considering this option.
You buy freedom here. Hopefully you’ve accrued enough in your lifetime to earn
some time for yourself. Or maybe you were fortunate enough to start at the top
and begin on your path to self-discovery much earlier.
That’s life though. Right?
Should it be?

30. • Types of financing:
– Equity
• Involves giving up a portion of the ownership of your
business in exchange for money received from equity
investors.
– Debt
• This is money that you will pay back, usually with interest,
over a set time period and in accordance with specific terms.
Some traditional sources for debt financing are banks and
credit cards.
Of that 20 million, close to 12 million – or 60%

33. • Debt
– As of this draft on 12/28/2013 ALL monies
borrowed from loaner until completion of
baccalaureate degree will be returned in full.
– Financial situation will be kept track of by both
parties and assessed after every semester.
If needed a contract can be drafted up at any time if
any party feels it to be necessary.
34. • No Interest
– No interest will be added to any borrowed
monies.
• Independence
– Borrower retains ultimate control of his classes
and future, discussion is encouraged however.
35. • Shared Finances
– Borrower is obligated to do his best to obtain
monies from all other means including financial
aid, scholarships and employment opportunities.
• Investor Knowledge
– After every semester both borrower and loaner
will reconvene to assess the situation and
honestly discuss all concerns and possible
changes. Investor is obligated to assess borrower’s
grades.
37. Potential Problem:
Will this jeopardize our relationship?
Potentially, yes. Realistically, no.
I don’t have that kind of money.
I’m welcome to renegotiating a smaller deal.
My funds are tied up in other investments.
I encourage you to see if you can move things around without being penalized.
Are you sure you’re going to commit?
I’ve laid out a plan and I’m known for my reliability.
38. Potential Problem:
Are you sure this is the major you want?
It’s been ten years in the working and I’m ready.
I still feel this might jeopardize our relationship.
I understand there are loan administration companies.
What if we disagree after the fact?
After each semester there are renegotiation talks.
I have friends who never got a penny back.
I’ve laid out a plan that is easily understood and managed by both parties.
