Narrative Story<br />Vito Agnar Rizaly<br />Grade 10<br />Language B.<br />Welcome to the Family<br />One day in a small town, there is a group of people who always blackmail the citizen of the small town every week; they call themselves “The Blackmailer”. There are four people in the group. They are very mean, selfish, and arrogant. Everyone in the small town is afraid of them. The citizens always do what they told them to do. If they refuse, The Blackmailer will kidnap one of their relatives. There, live a family of four; father, mother, two sons. The older brother’s name is John; his younger brother’s name is Patrick. “Dad, how come The Blackmailer are very bad to all the people?” ask Patrick. “I don’t know son, they just don’t know what they are doing, someday they will realize that what they did was wrong”, reply his Dad.<br />Today is Sunday, The Blackmailer collect the money from all the citizens on Sunday. The Blackmailer’s leader, Matt, ask his three assistants to collect money from each house. In the early morning, Matt’s three assistants go to each house to collect the money. They have been doing this for years. One of Matt’s assistant, Jimmy, feel pity for the people of the small town. He wants to tell Matt to stop this but he is too scared, so he just keeps it in his mind, he doesn’t even share his thoughts to the other member of The Blackmailer.<br />One day, a postman come to the small town and gives a letter to every house in the small town without The Blackmailer knowing. “What does it say, honey?” ask Mom to Dad. “There will be a group of police officers from out of town planning to do some inspection to our town. Blackmailers will be executed”, reply Dad. “That’s a good thing right?” ask Mom. “I don’t think it’s a good thing, if nobody will warn The Blackmailer, they are going to die when the police arrive”, said Dad. After a long discussion with the family, John’s father decided to warn The Blackmailer to stop what they’re doing because the police will come to the town for inspection. Although John, Patrick and Mom didn’t agree, there is nothing they can do to stop his dad.<br />At night, his father goes to the place where The Blackmailer stays. “ What do you want old man?” said Matt. “I just want to warn you guys that there will be a police inspection tomorrow, and if they find any blackmailers, they will be executed, please stop what you’re doing for your own good” said John’s father. “Are you trying to scare me old man?” said Matt, “Tie him up!” They torture John’s father to death. John, Patrick, and Mom are crying the whole night when they got the news that their father was murdered. But, they are good people and a good family; they hate nobody. <br />In the morning, while Jimmy; one of The Blackmailer’s member is walking in the town, he sees a group of police officers coming toward the town, and he panicked and ran to a house. He entered John’s house. John and his family welcome him and try to hide him. The police caught the other members of The Blackmailer. One of the police officers knocks on John’s house door; he wants to take a look inside; Jimmy is very scared. When the police ask Jimmy a question, he is too scared to answer the officer’s question. Suddenly, John said, “He is my father, police officer. My father is afraid of police officers”. “Don’t be, I’m here to find blackmailers, thank you for your cooperation”, said the officer. Then the police leave the town. Jimmy was very thankful, he asks for forgiveness to John, Patrick and John’s mother. From then on, Jimmy becomes a part of their family. Tomorrow morning, Jimmy apologizes to all the citizens of the small town and the citizens forgive him and they all live happily ever after.<br />---------------------------------------------THE END-----------------------------------------------<br />
