2. Dr. Bradley Don Britton, M.D.
As one of Oklahoma’s leading refractive eye
surgeons, Dr. Britton has performed over
17,000 LASIK procedures.
Dr. Britton is a board certified
Ophthalmologist as well as a Fellow of the
North American Academy of Ophthalmology.
He received his medical degree from the
University of Oklahoma in June of 1987 and
served as a medical intern and resident from
1987 until 1991 at Alton Ochsner Foundation
Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.
3. Dr. Toby D. Broussard, M.D., F.A.C.S.
For over 17 years, Dr. Broussard has been
practicing in the field of Bariatrics and
General Surgery.
Dr. Boussard is a member of the Society of
American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic
Surgeons (SAGES), and belongs to the
American Society for Bariatric Surgery.
Dr. Broussard has also had his research
published in several medical journals some
being, Surgical Technology International
and the Journal of Parental & Enteral
Nutrition.
4. Dr. Khalid A. Khan, M.D.
As a medical doctor, Dr. Khan is a
leader in the field of pain management
and neurology.
Although he is a member of the Summit
Medical Center, Dr. Khan also runs a
private practice at Unity Hospital and
works as an Assistant Professor at the
University of Oklahoma, in the
Interventional Pain Management
Department of Anesthesia.
5. Dr. Brian Morgan, M.D.
As an Ophthalmologist, Dr. Morgan specializes in treatment of
the aging eye, including cataract and eyelid surgeries.
Dr. Morgan maintains an active membership in the American
Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of
Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is also board certified by
the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Receiving his Undergraduate degree from Oklahoma Baptist
University, he then continued his medical education at the
University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Morgan
served as an Ophthalmology resident at the University of
Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
6. Dr. Sandeep N. Shah, M.D.
As a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and
Vitreoretinal Surgeon for Retina Vitreous
Affiliates, Dr. Shah has devoted his medical
career to becoming one of the leading
Vitreoretinal Surgeons.
Along with completing his residency at the
renowned Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, Dr.
Shah served as the Chief Resident at the
Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
Dr. Shah had helped in several important
clinical trials and has published articles in
both medical journals and textbooks.
7. Dr. Jeffrey Thomas Shaver, M.D.
As a Naval Reservist, Dr. Shaver studied
Chemistry at the University of Oklahoma.
After graduation he went on to receive
his medical degree again from the
University of Oklahoma Health Sciences.
Dr. Shaver served his residency at the
Dean McGee Eye Institute.
He has since opened a private practice
and is deeply involved with the Oklahoma
Association of Ophthalmology, there he
chairs the Political Action Committee as
well as the Legislative Committee.
8. Dr. Jeffrey J. Smith
M.D., F.A.C.O.G., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Smith is board certified in Gynecologic Oncology and Gynecologic
surgery. Along with working at Summit Medical Center, Dr. Smith is a
Clinical Professor at both the University of Oklahoma School of
Medicine and Tulsa Osteopathic School of Medicine.
Dr. Smith has written and published multiple
scientific articles and serves as an investigator
for the national cancer institute as well as with
other research groups.
Dr. Smith also belongs to numerous medical
societies including the Society of Laparoscopic
Surgeons, the American Uro-Gynecologic Society
and the American College of Surgeons.
9. Dr. Liem Q. Trang, D.O
As a doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr.
Trang is able to diagnose and treat patients
through both modern medical techniques
and holistic remedies as well.
Dr. Trang received his medical degree from
Oklahoma State University, College of
Osteopathic Medicine.
He currently runs a private practice in Pain
Management and Anesthesiology.
10. Dr. Joel Tupper, M.D.
As an Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Tupper specializes in
Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery belongs to the
American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is
also board certified by the American Board of
Orthopedic Surgery.
As a former All-American football star at Missouri
Southern State College, Dr. Tupper was able to take
hard work and discipline he learned from the football
field and apply it to his education and subsequent
work in the medical field.
Dr. Tupper earned his medical degree from the
University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He also
served as a medical fellow in Pediatric Orthopedic
Surgery at The Children’s Hospital, Denver, CO.
11. Dr. Gregory F. Walton, M.D.
After receiving his medical degree from the
Carraway Methodist Medical Center, Dr.
Walton was awarded a fellowship in burns and
ICU medicine with the U.S. Army Institute of
Surgical Research at Brooke Army Hospital a
Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Walton serves on the Board of Directors for
the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation,
he is also a Diplomat of the American Board of
Surgery.
Currently, Dr. Walton runs the Weightwise
Bariatric program for the Summit Medical
Center. He is a member of the American
Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons.
