Rotary Youth Exchange is a sister concern of Rotary International, conducting safe, comfortable and cost-effective youth exchange programs for 15 to 19 years old in over 100 countries.
3. Rotary Youth Exchange is helping teens and young adults to emerge as global
citizens. Rotary Youth Exchange conducts short-term and long-term exchanges
globally, allowing the participant to come in contact with foreign languages,
cultures, faiths, and people. The interaction ensures an enriching experience for
the participant, as he/she develops tolerance, leadership, proficiency in multiple
languages and other skills that define a global citizen. The exchanges come in
all shapes and sizes to fit every learning curve, aspiration, and budget. Plus,
travel opportunities are available with each exchange, short-term or long-term.
The spokesperson at Rotary Youth Exchange recently stated, “In the
contemporary world ruled by virtual interactions, real interactions are more
relevant than ever. Real interactions give an individual a firsthand experience of
different people and cultures, which is otherwise impossible to get. The
individual learns to celebrate differences, find common grounds, learn new
languages and develop favorable traits. Rotary Youth Exchange is committed to
providing 15 to 19-year-olds with a once in a lifetime opportunity for real
interactions in safe, economical and efficient ways. As an offshoot of Rotary
International, we have global execution capabilities. Our track record is
significant because our passion for what we do is undisputed.”
4. Rotary Youth Exchange offers long-term and short-term exchanges in three
options - High School Abroad, Gap Year Abroad and Summer Abroad
programs – in across 100 countries and 5 continents. The short-term
exchanges last anywhere between a couple of days and three months and
take place in the summers when schools are closed for vacations. On the
other hand, long-term exchanges stretch across a full academic year,
enabling the participant to attend local schools and live with carefully chosen
host families. Both, long-term and short-term exchanges cover the
participant’s lodging, food and school fees, subject to program specifications.
On Summer Foreign Exchange Student Programs, the spokesperson further
stated, “Rotary Youth Exchange’s Summer Foreign Exchange Student
Programs offer a perfect blend of culture and adventure. These short-term
exchanges can be customized to each participant’s interests, time
constraints, and learning aspirations. Unlike the long-term exchanges, the
participant will not be attending a local school in the destination country but is
free to include tours of specific places or regions. From accommodation to
food and travel, we handle everything meticulously because exchanges
should be enriching, safe, and convenient for each participant.”
5. The Summer Foreign Exchange Student Programs are structured as home-
stays, tours, family-to-family, and international youth camps to meet all needs.
Plus, his/her security needs are well catered to with round the clock and round
the year worldwide emergency assistance available when needed. The
foreign exchange programs are funded by Rotary International, hence
competitive prices apply. As the fee covers stay, food and school fees, the
participant has to pay for round-trip airfare, travel insurance, additional travel
or tours, and travel documents, such as passports and visas.
