To live beyond the ordinary existence that leads to death and despair, we must face the hardships in life as opportunities to learn, grow and mature. They are natural and are here to teach us about the reality of this life.
4. Awakened by Faith
Animated by Love
Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves
and knows the One who is leading.
Oswald Chambers
5. Awakened by Faith
Animated by Love
We labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the
living God 1 Timothy 4:10

6. This is God’s Word for my life
In this Place and at this Time.
Today I am a new creation in Christ,
I am God’s very own,
and I KNOW He has a purpose for my life.
7. When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other
side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around him while
he was by the lake. Then one of the synagogue
leaders, named Jairus, came, and when he saw Jesus, he
fell at his feet. He pleaded earnestly with him, “My little
daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her
so that she will be healed and live.” So Jesus went with
him.
8. A large crowd followed and pressed around him. And a
woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for
twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care
of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of
getting better she grew worse. When she heard about
Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched
his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I
will be healed.”
9. Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body
that she was freed from her suffering.
At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him.
He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched
my clothes?”
“You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples
answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’ ”
10. But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then
the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and
fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole
truth. He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you.
Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
Mark 5:21-36 (NIV)
11. “Until you learn to name your ghosts, baptize
your hopes and pursue your purpose, you
have not yet been born. You are still the
creation of others.”
12. Hope Goes Beyond FUTILITY
Hope doesn’t give up, give in or give out!
“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us
all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all
things?” Romans 8:32
13. Hope Goes Beyond FEAR
Hope is not wishful thinking,
it is Bold, Courageous and Active
“Since we have such a hope, we are very bold.” 2 Cor 3:12
14. Hope Goes Beyond ORDINARY
“she felt in her body that she was FREED from her suffering.”
v29
15. O little town of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie!
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep the silent stars go by.
Yet in thy dark streets shineth the everlasting Light;
The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight.
16. No, in all these things we are more than
conquerors through him who loved us. For I am
convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels
nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor
any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything
else in all creation, will be able to separate us from
the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:37-39
