Proper handling, storage,
finishing and installation are
important steps in preserving
a quality appearance and
maintaining warranty coverage
for your doors. Forest Bright
has developed detailed care
and handling instructions for our
MDF, and wood doors. These
instructions can be found in the
Care and Handling section of our
website at www.forestbright.com.
All Forest Bright doors require some
field preparation prior to finishing.
MDF doors are factory shipped with
a primer that is not a sealant. This
primer must be scuff-sanded, and
nail holes should be filled prior to
painting. Forest Bright wood doors
are shipped unfinished and must be
prepped and sealed in the field by
a professional finisher. All six door
sides must be sealed, including the
top and bottom.
All Forest Bright doors must
be stored on a flat surface in
a dry, ventilated area prior
to installation. Doors should
not be leaned against walls
and center supports must be
used when they are stored
horizontally on pallets.
All Forest Bright wood doors
are manufactured to the highest
quality and craftsmanship
standard, and are backed by
limited 2 years warranties against
defects in workmanship and

flexibility. We build our pre-hung
units to order and can supply jambs
in any width, for any size door,
Our automated, precise machinery
ensures every pre-hung unit is high
quality and machined exactly to your
specifications.
For non-rated openings requiring
wood jambs, Forest Bright offers a
turnkey knock-down jamb in paint-
grade plywood or any stain-grade
wood species. Our KD jambs come
pre-machined to match each door
in your order and are packaged and
labeled to make job site organization
and installation quick and easy.
