Eligibility Criteria for MBBS
• Any student applying for admission in NUST School of Health
Sciences (NSHS) shall be eligible having fulfilled the following
criteria:

For Foreign Students, mandatory requirement of MDCAT shall
NOT apply.

2. HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE (HSSC)
For Foreign Students: Students qualifying SAT-II with
minimum score of 550 in each subject or a foreign MCAT
examination or UCAT examination with 50% marks in the
subjects.
Students appearing in NUMS MDCAT (ONLY) shall be eligible
for applying in NUST School of Health Sciences.

3. Foreign Seats:
• NSHS shall admit 15% students on foreign seats as per PMDC
policy.
• Where a foreign student is defined as “a student who holds a
permanent foreign nationality or is an overseas Pakistani
(being a Pakistani citizen permanently resident in a foreign
country), and who has studied and passed HSSC 12th grade
examination or equivalent from outside Pakistan and is a
resident of a foreign country at the time of applying for
admission and possess a certificate from the institution last
attended to this effect”.
