01. USERS
New users can be added to LawRD at any time.
You just need the email address of the employee
to be granted access.

That employee will then get an invitation by email
and in order to start right away he/she only
needs to click on a link and choose a password.

The level of data access of such a user is
determined by the system administrator(s) of the
LawRD account who manage(s) the profiles of all
other users.
02. CLIENTS
LawRD enables the management of all your
contacts information in a single spot. Add clients,
either individual or companies.

Complete the information on each client by
identifying its rainmaker, the established hourly
rate and data concerning retainers.

Relate it to other contacts so they too become
part of each client's record.
03. MATTERS
For each matter, a manager and a team of
lawyers to work on it are chosen. From then on,
they can start to assign and perform tasks, as
well as reporting the time and expenses spent.

Then, the manager can check the tasks and
approve the time spent and reported by the
matter’s team, along with their expenses.

Task planning and assignment allow making the
most out of the application and so enhancing the
alert system and reports automatically created by
LawRD.
04. TIMESHEET
This is a core module wherein users log the time
spent on tasks to be approved by the matter's
manager, thus enabling thorough billing sheets.

Time management thus gets under control
through an approval workflow that allows
changes, creating notes and editing corrections
to be included in billing sheets.
05. BILLING
When the timesheets get approved, its tasks can
be added to billing sheets that will be added as
appendixes to invoices issued to clients.

You can pick the tasks to be included in billing
sheets or just set a maximum amount. LawRD
will set automatically the tasks that add up to
such an amount.

To face the real needs of law firms, times and
amounts can be modified and additional taxes
can be added. This grants flexibility and the
possibility for adjustments.
The processing of data gathered throughout the workflow leads to the output of automatic reports and
graphs organized in “entities” and tables that can be exported into Excel (and others).
LawRD works with five main entities: clients, matters, matter managers, rainmakers and lawyers. With these entities, performance
assessment and management control reports of your firm are generated.

For each entity you can sort indicators: times, values (cash flow), profitability and productivity. Reports can also be filtered by time
spans and other options available on LawRD.
