L SHOP known as wagon shop where the maintenance
of the wagons are done.the wagons are mainly
categorized into four types:-
BLC-BOGIE LOW CONTAINERPLATFORM WAGON
BVZI-BREAK VAN FITTED WITH ICF BOGIE
BOXN-BOGIE OPEN FITTED WITH AIR BRAKE WAGON
BCN-BODY COVVERED WAGON
The wheels of blc are shorter than the other types of
wagon.This is done due to adjust the height of the cargo with
the railway overhead cable.oneblc unit consists of 2 BLC A,3
BLC B,which means 5units of blc make one module.theyare
interconnected by fixed links.the buffer height is maintained
at both the ends so that any type of coach can be fitted with
that wagon.
