Mr. Jacob Sorensen has earned an excellent character reference from me for the reasons that
follow. I have had the opportunity to know Jacob for about four years as a student who is active
at Newton High School and more directly as student in science class and in seminar.
Mr. Sorensen demonstrates good character. He is sincere, cooperative, responsible, dependable,
and courteous.
Jacob employs good work habits. He competently applies himself to tasks with diligence and
dependable self-discipline. He has good personal skills and good teamwork skills. He
demonstrates good study skills.
Mr. Sorensen engages in a variety of activities that promote achievement, leadership, and
scholarship. He leads by example by being a hard worker who applies himself to his endeavors.
He communicates well with his peers. He chooses and completes reasonably challenging
academic course work.
