John Kao gave a keynote speech on January 23rd, 2011 about the new geography of innovation. He discussed how accelerating technology and a growing entrepreneurial culture are rapidly changing the world and spurring innovation. He recommended developing a new narrative for how to do innovation and compete, and moving away from competitions with sole winners and losers, toward infinite games where winning is ongoing participation. Innovation should be a property of society, not just companies.
