Dear friends!
For the 25th time in my life, I have the honor to tell people about the
small and big things that we, the public organization MARTIN-club, did
last year.
The annual report is our favorite tradition, because it is on the eve of
Christmas, when everyone sums up, that we also do it. This is another
reason to remind us all that there is a lot of trouble around, but there is
more kindness and help.
I am happy that in 2023 I was a part of a large and effective team of
professionals determined to protect children, overcome violence, extend
a helping hand to everyone who suffers from a humanitarian disaster,
from shelling, anxiety, separation from loved ones. While the military
protected us in war, we did everything to protect those who needed
support in peaceful towns and villages.
I am grateful to our donors and partners, this whole year we could not
have taken even a small step without your resources and training.
I want to say to people of all ages, genders, creeds, nationalities, sexual
orientations, social statuses and economic conditions: seek help.
We are here, we are nearby. We will support good changes in life, even
when no one knows how to help, we will definitely find a way out if we
act together.

The organization passed 2 audits and 1 check-spot from
independent auditing companies
1) BDO LLP, a UK limited liability partnership registered in
England and Wales under number OC305127, is a member
of BDO International Limited UK company limited by
guarantee, and forms part of the international BDO network
of independent member firms 55 Baker Street, London W1U

2) MGI PSP AUDIT
2 project audits were also carried out.
The results of the inspections showed a low risk in
financial and program processes, correspondingly a
high level of the organization's capacity and reliability

An assessment of organizational capacity was carried out
APPRECIATIVE SELF-DIRECTED PATHWAY FOR INSTITUTIONAL
REFLECTION & EMPOWERMENT (ASPIRE), based on the results
of which the organizational development plan for 2023-2024
was developed and started to be implemented.
Planned measures to adapt the organization's vision and
mission for the next year, digitalization of activity management
processes, promotion of the organization's brand, training of
new employees in project management.

The capacity and qualifications of the legal
department have strengthened, which today
affects almost every area of

our work, helps
victims, and also actively supports the
organization's team. An exclusive service for
victims is legal support, including in cases related
to war and considered by the ECHR
CURRENTLY, THE ORGANIZATION HAS 13 OWN AND 4
PARTNER LOCATIONS, AS WELL AS A WAREHOUSE

This year, the MARTIN club was handed over for responsible use
7 cars that were purchased with the support of the Danish government.
Mobile teams are working on cars with the support of UNFPA, the United
Nations Population Fund, in coordination with the Office of the Vice Prime
Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Ministry of Social
Policy of Ukraine
Currently, we use a total of 12 cars for work in communities,
2 of which are equipped with lift ramps.
Each of the cars serves the beneficiaries

The security measures of the locations have been strengthened, fire
extinguishers have been updated in all rooms, the windows in the living
rooms of the crisis rooms have been sealed with armored film, carbon dioxide
sensors have been installed, and the practice of protecting the rooms at
night continues.
The bomb shelter at 31 Korolenko St. is maintained in working condition, the
interaction and safety chat of volunteers is active, the responsibilities for
responding to shelling are distributed, an algorithm for actions in dangerous
situations has been developed

Currently, the organization has adopted and operates 32 policies, including
the "Anti-corruption policy of the NGO "MARTIN-club"" and the Employee
Code of Ethics, which defines the main principles and requirements aimed at
preventing corruption and compliance with anti-corruption legislation by
members of its management bodies, employees and others persons who can
act on behalf of the organization.
PSEA regulations have been introduced into all contractual relations
between the organization and external experts and suppliers.

We focused our actions this year on building a response system to cases of
gender-based and domestic violence, paying primary attention to the
availability of services in communities and focusing on communities where
there are no services for victims

We also supported already established service systems
for victims of violence and child protection.
Cooperation with state structures that have the political will to create such
systems and have already initiated support for their communities through
state subvention is particularly effective.
In this way, we, as a public organization, contributed to the sustainability of
the provision of services, taking into account
the constant needs of the victims for support

Response in communities to the challenges of war
On an ongoing basis, we help people affected by shelling:
after the first response of the Ministry of Emergencies, medics and the police,
psychologists of mobile brigades leave and provide crisis assistance.
We also issue dignity kits for women and girls whose housing has been
damaged and sometimes there are no things left at all.
Our legal service accompanies the injured
and homeless as a result of rocket bombing

During this year, the following was carried out:

SUBURBAN
Support was provided for the repair of the inclusive premises for the
opening of the service "Specialized service of primary social and
psychological counseling for victims of violence" KP "Center for the provision
of social services" of the Pidhorodnya City Council. Among the necessary
equipment of electric bicycles is a vehicle that does not depend on the
availability of fuel in service and is indispensable in rural areas. Trainings for
victims were also financed.

NOVOMOSKOVSK
An analysis of the needs of the community was carried out, the
activities of the legal service and mobile brigades were extended to
the territory of the Novomoskovsk district and the city of
Novomoskovsk, the case management of Pavlograd and Dnipro was
involved.

SYNELNYKOVSKIY DISTRICT
Assessment of community needs is carried out at the level of
Dubovykiv village council of Synelnyk district. In Dubovyky, a primary
social and psychological counseling service for victims has been
established, preparatory work and procurement planning are
underway.
VASYLKIVKA
The Vasylkiv settlement council created a day center for socio-
psychological assistance and a crisis room for victims, which were
equipped by us this year within the framework of our partnership with
UNFPA

DONETSK REGION
There was a strengthening of cooperation for the evacuation of
victims of violence from the Donetsk region, a response algorithm
was approved, key persons and principles of assistance and
cooperation at the level of the Donetsk regional state administration
and the police were determined.
POKROVSK
Together with the Donetsk regional administration and the Pokrovsk
city military administration, the day center and the crisis room were
supported with equipment, and 6 specialized advisory services for
victims of violence were equipped in starostats.

NOVOHRODIVKA, DONETSK REGION
The Novogrodiv City Military Administration of the Pokrovsky District
carried out repairs in the specialized service "Day center for social
and psychological support of victims of violence" with the funds of
the state subsidy and received additional equipment for the day
center through the NGO MARTIN-Club
DOBROPILLYA
The Dobropillya city military administration of the Pokrovsky district
received assistance in equipping the day care center and support in
paying for a lawyer and 2 psychologists
BILOZIRSK
An assessment of the needs of the community is carried out at the
level of the Belozirsk City Military Administration. In the city of
Bilozirskyi, the Service for primary social and psychological
counseling of victims has been established, preparatory work and
procurement planning are underway

KHARKIV REGION KHARKIV - ROGAN - IZYM
There is a humanitarian hub for war victims, a mobile humanitarian
case management service
IVANO-FRANKIVSK OBLAST - KALUSH
There is an active referral partnership with the NGO "Pure Hearts of
Kalush", joint projects are in place, where psychosocial support is
provided to displaced persons, peacekeeping work is carried out in
the context of war, evacuation and displacement, legal support,
individual classes for adults and children, specialized services for
families of military personnel and veterans, inclusive group classes for
children. Children's space in the volunteer center (upon agreement
with parents), trainings against domestic, gender-based sexual
violence during the war.
