Zvarot.by is an online platform in Belarus that allows citizens to appeal directly to public authorities. The site contains a database of over 600 public bodies across Belarus that citizens can submit individual appeals to. It also facilitates social appeals for significant public causes by providing eForms that citizens can use to send mass emails to relevant public authority offices. Some examples of successful prior social campaigns included one to establish a museum honoring a famous Belarusian artist that received 160 appeals, and another pushing for legal accountability for animal cruelty that generated over 900 appeals.

• The Musem of Maksim Bogdanovitch – 160
appeals are sent in the Council of Ministers and
the Ministry of Culture – the answer to this
appeal of citizens is online at site of the Ministry
of Culture
• Criminal responsibility for cruelty to animals –
more than 900 appeals are sent in the Ministry
of Internal Affairs and in the Office of Public
Prosecutor - the answer to this appeal is online
at site of the Office of Public Prosecutor
