Making your email awesome
Email is Broken
Information Overload costs the U.S. economy
ca. $900 billion per year. A large part of that
figure is the cost of unnecessary
  interruptions and resultant recovery time.
Recovery time can be as much as ten to
twenty times that of the original
                  interruption.

  • #10 We filter on email address, parts of subject, parts of the actual message, etc… this reduces false positives to virtually nothing.Building and maintaining filters can be a lot of work. In the last 1.5 years we’ve built extensive tools to speed up this process. The assistant peer review provides very accurate classification. It also allows us to detect assistant who aren’t performing well.Building an email client is easy, but building one that always works and has all the features that users expect is a massive job. We’ve already been through this. We’ve also got some proprietary tech to connect to Gmail that reduces our server costs quite a bit.Barrier to entry is huge as evidenced by many email startups failing before or soon after launch.Using our technology to build a product similar to SaneBox (but better) or MailBoxApp is simple, but our goal is to really solve the problem of email and those products only work partially.
