2. Aadit Palicha was born in 2001 (age 23 years; as
of 2023) in Mumbai, India.Later, his family
moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where
Aadit spent most of his childhood.Aadit Palicha
is an Indian entrepreneur who is known for co-
founding the online grocery store Zepto, along
with his childhood friend Kaivalya Vohra. Zepto
became India's fastest-growing e-grocery
company within months of its incorporation in
2021.

3. He pursued an IB Diploma, Mathematics and
Computer Science at GEMS Modern Academy,
Dubai from where he graduated as
valedictorian. He was also the deputy head
boy of GMA. He actively participated in
extracurricular activities and was a national-
level debater during his school days. An
extraordinary student, he achieved the
highest point score possible of 45 in the IDBP
Diploma in UAE. He went to Stanford
University in the US to study computer
engineering, but he quit the programme in
the middle to launch his firm.

Aadit palicha started his first venture,
GoPool at the age of 17. which aimed to
assist parents in Dubai, who live in the
same area and have children who go to the
same school, to coordinate with each other
and carpool with their children to and from
school. To develop the GoPool App, they
received a grant of Dh53,550 from Emirates
NBD.He is also the founder of the company
PryvaSee, an AI project that summarizes
privacy policies.

7. Zepto now delivers more than 2500 items like
cooking essentials, snacks, beverages, fresh
produce, and home cleaning products in just 10
minutes.
Zepto is able to complete its target of 10 minutes
delivery because of its dark stores and mini-
warehouses system. The company works around a
customer-centric and instant service model. The
tagline of Zepto is “Groceries delivered in 10
minutes.”
After this during pandemic they created zepto ,
an online grocery delivery platform.

9. Zepto is not the first venture of Aadit Palicha. He
started his first business in 17 with a company named
GoPool. However, the business wasn’t a success.
Aadit was then set to go and study in the US before
the pandemic hit. With the Stanford course
becoming virtual the benefits would not be the
same. Instead of being troubled by this setback,
Aadit teamed up with Kaivalya to start a company
called KiranaKart. That business, however, only lasted
10 months as they were unable to find “a strong
product-market fit”.

Zepto has witnessed a huge 946% user growth
between December 2021 and March 2022,
whereas its competitors Blinkit, BigBasket, and
Dunzo witnessed 18%, 58% and 94% respectively
in the same period of time. Its growth speaks all

instant delivery service it’s offering.
