zap-it® is a laser thermal-sensitive paper used for aligning various optical components with the laser beam. It is available in multiple standard sizes, with custom sizes upon request, and records permanent visual imprints of the laser beam's energy distribution. Additionally, protective poly bags and hands-free holders are available to facilitate its use.

Responsive to a broad spectrum, from ultraviolet to infrared,

Zap-It® is simple to use:
Hold or fasten it in the beam path at the point where the beam imprint is to be recorded. Pulse the laser and the paper
records a permanent visual imprint corresponding to the energy distribution within the cross-section of the laser beam.
If the laser being used is continuous wave (CW), you can create a short pulse by Q-switch, mechanical chopper,
or by turning the laser on and off rapidly.
