2. OVERVIEW
Los Angeles, CA - Zacapa Rum hosted a luxury dinner with NBA Star Amar’e Stoudemire (Phoenix
Suns) and brand partner Maserati North America, Inc. at the sexy and modern steakhouse, STK LA, on
Saturday, January 10th. The restaurant’s private bistro room accommodated over 35 guests with a 3-
course meal amidst luxurious and fragrant floral arrangements complimented by elegant Zacapa rum
bottles.
Mixologist Michael Martensen gave guests the ultimate Zacapa experience - with drink pairings that
went with each dinner course. Conversations and cocktails were flowing throughout the night amongst
the athletes, celebrities, executives and tastemakers in the room. Maserati graciously presented
Amar’e with an aluminum model car of the Maserati GTS, the same one he will be driving in Phoenix
during NBA All-Star Weekend. Lastly, the evening was capped off with a special rum cake made with
Zacapa.
Celebrity guests included: actor/signer Tyrese Gibson, MLB player Matt Kemp of the Los Angeles Dodgers, MLB
player Brandon Watson of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Singer Lyfe Jennings, actor Shemar Moore, actor Jackie
Long, A&R executive Shawn quot;Tubbyquot; Holiday and manager Manny Halley, and model Lisa Parizi.
