This report is a summary from the PbS Youth Exit Interview collected during the April 2015 data
collection period. The first column lists all PbS Youth Exit Interviews where a write-in response
was provided. The second column lists those responses.
PbS ID What was the best thing this facility did to get you ready to move to your next placement or to
go home?
1760 I feel that my counselor was a great counselor. He's helped me transition to here and has helped
me transition from here. He's a great counselor.
1764 My counselor, Aaron Gasser, was really helpful when I needed advice on my treatment goals and
plans.
1780 Shift work
1781 I learned how to cope with my stress in a positive way, something I always struggled with and I
also learned how to control my anxiety.
1785 Mr. Nolan helped me with a lot of things and me and him had a very good relationship the whole
time I was here.
1788 Getting in touch with my culture more.
1795 Just learning that this is only a stepping stone to my life.
1796 Helped me get in contact with my real mother.

1798 Help me understand my flaws and guide me to fix them for the better.
1799 The only class that I have really learned anything in is Mrs. Souther's classroom. I had her a lot
out through the year and really helped me bring up my GED scores.
1803 I have had an issue in the past with making the correct choices in life and this facility has helped
me learn how to stop my thoughts before they become actions and evaluate my situation.
1810 Just getting clean time under my belt.
1821 Learn a lot more about myself. I also learned kind of why I act out the way I do.
1822 Staff have been really nice to me. They have been very fair and understanding.
1827 learn how to control and express my emotions in a positive and healthy manner
1829 How to radically accept things.
1830 Mr. Poyer really helped deal with my anger while I was at Naselle Youth Camp. He also helped
me be a better person and people skills.
