Copy  a  sample  Kids  Voting  Ballot  for  each  student.     2. Study  the  ballot  with  your  students.  Discuss  that  the  site  will  be  voting  for  their   favorite  superhero  to  get  excited  for  Youth  Out  All  Night.     3. Divide  the  group  into  three  “parties”  (Boys,  Girls  and  Counselors)  and  have  each  vote   for  their  favorite  superheroes.  Have  students  fill  out  the  candidates  on  the  voting   ballot.     4. Discuss  the  elements  of  each  Superhero  that  could  impact  their  vote  (i.e.   Superpower,  costume,  Sidekick  (Vice  President),  etc.)  and  talk  about  how  it’s   important  to  make  an  informed  vote.     5. Explain  how  to  complete  the  ballot  and  have  students  cast  their  vote  in  a  voting   booth  or  box.     6. While  students  wait  for  the  counselors  to  count  the  votes  to  see  which  superhero  will   win,  have  students  color  and  cut  out  their  “Future  Voter”  badge  and  have  them  tape   it  to  their  shirt.     7. Optional:  Use  the  site  superhero  to  represent  your  site  (i.e.  group  behavior  chart,   coloring  pages,  add  to  newsletter,  etc.)     Questions  to   Ask/  Lessons   to  Teach   1.
