The Park
A
dventure begins in the world’s first national
park spanning 2.2 million acres, across
three states, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.
Established in 1872, Yellowstone National Park is
the crown jewel of the National Park System and the
world’s first National Park.
It is home to some of the nation’s best-known
natural features such as Old Faithful Geyser, the
Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and an abundance
of wildlife. Elk, bison, bighorn sheep, moose,
wolves, and bears are free to roam in their natural
habitat.
High rising mountains, a rugged canyon, and broad
scenic valleys support an array of trees, plants, and
wildflowers. The same geological forces that molded
the terrain formed the geysers, hot springs, and mud
pots make this a truly unique land.
Clients will take their first step toward new
experiences and opportunities. Yellowstone offers an
exciting life-changing adventure, where work and
play come together. The Life Style
L
iving in Yellowstone can be a bit different,
but for most the transition is easy. We provide
on-site housing at reasonable cost, located
inside the park near the job site.
For most, home is a dormitory room with one or
more roommates. For others, it may be a cabin, or
their own RV.
The National Park Services mandates that
employees must be 18 years of age at the start of
employment in order to live in our housing and pets
are not allowed.
A limited number of RV sites are available and
underage children may stay in a privately owned RV.
They must be supervised at all times.
Meals are included with our room & board package
for those who live in the cabins or dorms and are
served in one of our employee dining rooms (EDRs).
Meals are available 3 times a day and include second
helpings, beverages and snacks.
If employees would like to spend the day (or a few
days) hiking or backpacking they may ask for box
lunches or choose from our supply of backpacking
meals, all included with the room & board package.
Free wireless internet access is available in most
especially valued and have the
best chance of gaining their
preferred position.
Our winter season begins in
late December and continues
into March. Employees who
choose to work at least 9 months
with no more that a 90 day break
can qualify for Seasonal Core
status and receive our full benefit
package.
We promote heavily from
within and advancement can
be rapid for hardworking
employees.
Employees can also transfer either from, or to other
Xanterra properties to enjoy seasons in other locations
or with different climates.
The work is hard in Yellowstone, but the rewards are
equally great!

cost.

Yellowstone. Our cell phone service varies from OK
to nonexistent. TV reception is unavailable in the
park and not all dorms allow satellite receivers.

the greatest backyards in the world! Bison and
Elk occupy our front yards, eagles fly over head
and otters frolic in the river! The fishing is within
walking distance and hiking trails are often located
outside your door.
Yellowstone National Park Lodges is an equally
opportunity employer and diversity is prominent in
