Thermosiphon. Technology
Thermo-siphon technology is a method of passive heat exchange based on natural circulation, which circulates the fluid
without the usage of a mechanical pump.
Process of Thermo-siphon technology
• As cold water is denser than hot water, the hot water storage tank is required to place above the solar collector
• The fluid is heated by solar energy in the solar collector
• The process allows the heated water to flow in the tank, which is at a higher position, and remain
thermally insulated inside
Force Circulation. Technology

A Force Circulation Technology is specially designed for simplicity and sustainability during the late 19th century. This
system requires circulation pump, hot water storage tank that could be place any where, and a thermostat that constantly monitors
the temperature between solar collectors and the tank.
The process of Force Circulation Technology
• The system is fully digital and automatic
• The circulating pump is activated when the thermostat detects temperature differences between the tank and solar collectors
• Cold water is forced to circulate through solar collectors and heat up accordingly, then flow back into the storage tank

The average air temperature (dry bulb)
during office hours (8:00am – 6:00pm) is
31.4 C. The average humidity ratio (water
vapor to dry bulb air) is 25g / kg. The
global horizontal radiation on a horizontal
surface is 1,756 kW/m2.

Wasted Heat Recover System
UltraPlus
Hot water is a commonly use among factories, resorts,
hotels and private houses, which have contributed electrical
cost of up to 30% of the monthly cost. Electrical hot water is a
common, convenient, and least expensive source of hot water.
It provides a certain amount of heat in a short period of time,
however, the major draw back of operating an electrical system
is the amount of electricity to achieve the amount of the required
heat.
Water Systems & Service has taken concern towards
the issue and it is necessary for us to provide a suitable method
of producing hot water that is economically and environmentally
friendly. We have applied a method known as “Wasted Heat
Recovery System” to produces hot water through the discarded
heat from various type of machineries.
AdvantageofUltraPlus
• Provides a FREE energy solution through discarded heat
• Prolongs the life of the machine through better use of the
cooling system
• Utilizes the wasted heat of the machine and provides hot
water of around 40 to 80 degrees Celcius
• Zero cost of producing hot water
• Reduces machine work-load up to 40%
• No moving mechanic parts other than water pumps, hence
slight maintenance is required
• Ensure a perfectly secure system from electrical accident

Ultra Plus. Operations
Wasted heat recovery system utilizes the discarded heat (wasted heat energy) from air conditioner, air compressor, air
dryer, boiler exhaust, chiller, and flash steam to heat water to the expected degree.
In any machine, heat will be generated
within the process. It require a cooling
system to reduce the heat that occured.
As a result of waste heat recovery,
cooling system efficiency is increase.

	 Heat Pump System
UltraReverse
• One of the most efficient system to install for commercial
and private uses
• One of the best system to control cost
• Break-even point of only 2 - 4 years
• Fully reversible for all seasons
• Silent operation
• Reliable and little maintenance required
• Does not generate dry air
• Low risk of accident from unprofessional installation
AdvantageofUltraReverse
Commercial Heat Pump 8-1:
Higher performance compressors are needed for commercial use
Heat Pump System is one of the most efficient solutions
that can provide year-round climate control for your house,
heating in winter and cooling and dehumidifying in summer.
The heating process of heat pump is similar to air conditioning
process. It use the heat in the condenser stage to heat up the
water. Therefore, the electricity usage in a Heat Pump System is
generally 4 to 5 times lesser than a conventional heater/cooler by
utilizing the refrigerant properties.

Electric Boiler System
UltraVoltaic
	 The common known of boiler
is a gas boiler, which requires burning of
gas to create a certain amount of heat.
However, an electric boiler uses electric
energy to heat water for residential
usage. Electric boiler is being known as
reliable and suitable for daily uses. It’s
an alternative for gas boiler because it
doesn’t emit carbon waste by burning
gases, therefore, electric boiler uses
tremendous amount of electricity.
	 Water Systems & Service does
not recommend our clients to install
electric boiler due to high consumption
of electrical energy, however, we apply
electric boiler to support other systems
when there is insufficient energy to
generate hot water.
AdvantageofUltraVoltaic
• Relatively low installation cost than
other system
• Heats water rapidly
• Silent operating system
• Easy to service and maintenance
• Requires minimum amount of space
Section Diagram 9-1:
Heater position in the thermal water
storage tank
DisadvantageofUltraVoltaic
• Consume enormous amount of
electricity
• Not a long term cost beneficial
approach
• Events of electrical cut or failure,
electric boilers will be malfunction
• Risk of electrical accident
• Using electricity to generate hot
water isn’t an eco-friendly approach
due to the fact that electricity are
produce by nuclear, coal, or gas

At Water Systems & Service, we acquired all types of hot
water systems to support the customers’ needs. As a hot
water specialist, we consult our clients with the most suitable
system.
We can recover waste heat from various machinery such as
air condition, air compressor, air dryer, boiler exhaust, chiller,
and flash steam. When this heated water is supplied to the
boiler, it uses less energy. The lower energy requirements
means direct cost savings, which is important, as budgets
get tighter.
The following picture is an ideal concept project of Solar
Thermal System and Wasted Heat Recovery System.
This concept project is zero electric cost on water heating,
lessen the workload of the boiler, increases the hot water
capacity and temperature, rapid break-even point of below
3 years, and the operation lifetime of more than 50 years*.

Solar Collector is the heart of solar thermal system, which
carries fluid within the collector to be heated and use for further
uses. In Solar Thermal System, there are 3 basic types of collector,
flat plates, vacuum tubes, and concentrating collectors. Water
Systems & Service have chosen flat plate as our main collector.
Flat plate collectors are simple, requires low maintenance,
and relatively inexpensive comparing to vacuum tubes and
concentrating collectors.
Solar Collector. Operations
The solar collector was originally designed in Israel
where natural environment such as high temperature, high
humidity, high salinity, and sand storm highly affect the
performance. Therefore, when the solar collector operates in
Thailand, the product will have a longer usage due to the
fact that Thailand’s natural environment is not as harsh
as Israel. Moreover, the collectors have accredited
ASHRAE Standard 93-77 to ensure its quality.
Flat Plate Collector is the most efficient for installing
in any facilities. The flat plate collector consists
of an insulated box, with an absorber plate.
The box may be glazed or unglazed (a
transparent surface or uncover) with
the cover of glass or plastic. In Water
Systems & Service, we offered a glass
glazed flat plate collector. The glazed
traps the heat inside the insulated box
to heat the absorber plate and glass,
which is low in iron glass, allows a
high transmission of solar radiation
while minimizing heat loss. The absorber plate is what actually
transfers the solar energy to the air or liquid passing through the
solar collector. Because dark colors absorb more heat than light
colors, the absorber contains dark in color.

is a single pane of specially low iron patterned glass that prevents reflection and traps solar
radiation within the collector. The 5mm glass pane is tempered to maximize strength and durability.
The glass plate is held in place with a unique aluminum trim piece that interlocks with the casing.
This is sealed with high quality silicon. This seal prevents rain from entering yet allows for the
different thermal expansion of the glass and frame.

the risers and a 1-1/8 “ hard copper for the header. Large
riser and header was designed to suit with South East Asia
solar radiation due to the fact that this area receive more
energy comparing to european or western region. As a
result, the output of hot water is increased significantly
comparing to the panel with european specification.

collector size by folding bigger flat sheet into a compact
one. The plate is coated with specialized Bluing and

  • 7. Thermosiphon. Technology Thermo-siphon technology is a method of passive heat exchange based on natural circulation, which circulates the fluid without the usage of a mechanical pump. Process of Thermo-siphon technology • As cold water is denser than hot water, the hot water storage tank is required to place above the solar collector • The fluid is heated by solar energy in the solar collector • The process allows the heated water to flow in the tank, which is at a higher position, and remain thermally insulated inside Force Circulation. Technology A Force Circulation Technology is specially designed for simplicity and sustainability during the late 19th century. This system requires circulation pump, hot water storage tank that could be place any where, and a thermostat that constantly monitors the temperature between solar collectors and the tank. The process of Force Circulation Technology • The system is fully digital and automatic • The circulating pump is activated when the thermostat detects temperature differences between the tank and solar collectors • Cold water is forced to circulate through solar collectors and heat up accordingly, then flow back into the storage tank Solar Collector Storage Tank Thailand Climate The average air temperature (dry bulb) during office hours (8:00am – 6:00pm) is 31.4 C. The average humidity ratio (water vapor to dry bulb air) is 25g / kg. The global horizontal radiation on a horizontal surface is 1,756 kW/m2. Solar Thermal System: Solar Ultra
  • 8. Water Systems & Service Co., Ltd. | Website: www.watersystems.co.th | E-mail: info@watersystems.co.th | Tel: 02-551-2511-5 Wasted Heat Recover System UltraPlus Hot water is a commonly use among factories, resorts, hotels and private houses, which have contributed electrical cost of up to 30% of the monthly cost. Electrical hot water is a common, convenient, and least expensive source of hot water. It provides a certain amount of heat in a short period of time, however, the major draw back of operating an electrical system is the amount of electricity to achieve the amount of the required heat. Water Systems & Service has taken concern towards the issue and it is necessary for us to provide a suitable method of producing hot water that is economically and environmentally friendly. We have applied a method known as “Wasted Heat Recovery System” to produces hot water through the discarded heat from various type of machineries. AdvantageofUltraPlus • Provides a FREE energy solution through discarded heat • Prolongs the life of the machine through better use of the cooling system • Utilizes the wasted heat of the machine and provides hot water of around 40 to 80 degrees Celcius • Zero cost of producing hot water • Reduces machine work-load up to 40% • No moving mechanic parts other than water pumps, hence slight maintenance is required • Ensure a perfectly secure system from electrical accident HEAT RECOVERY MORE EFFICIENCYPROLONG USAGE +

Water Systems & Service Co., Ltd. | Website: www.watersystems.co.th | E-mail: info@watersystems.co.th | Tel: 02-551-2511-5 Heat Pump System UltraReverse • One of the most efficient system to install for commercial and private uses • One of the best system to control cost • Break-even point of only 2 - 4 years • Fully reversible for all seasons • Silent operation • Reliable and little maintenance required • Does not generate dry air • Low risk of accident from unprofessional installation AdvantageofUltraReverse Commercial Heat Pump 8-1: Higher performance compressors are needed for commercial use Heat Pump System is one of the most efficient solutions that can provide year-round climate control for your house, heating in winter and cooling and dehumidifying in summer. The heating process of heat pump is similar to air conditioning process. It use the heat in the condenser stage to heat up the water. Therefore, the electricity usage in a Heat Pump System is generally 4 to 5 times lesser than a conventional heater/cooler by utilizing the refrigerant properties.
  • 11.  Electric Boiler System UltraVoltaic The common known of boiler is a gas boiler, which requires burning of gas to create a certain amount of heat. However, an electric boiler uses electric energy to heat water for residential usage. Electric boiler is being known as reliable and suitable for daily uses. It’s an alternative for gas boiler because it doesn’t emit carbon waste by burning gases, therefore, electric boiler uses tremendous amount of electricity. Water Systems & Service does not recommend our clients to install electric boiler due to high consumption of electrical energy, however, we apply electric boiler to support other systems when there is insufficient energy to generate hot water. AdvantageofUltraVoltaic • Relatively low installation cost than other system • Heats water rapidly • Silent operating system • Easy to service and maintenance • Requires minimum amount of space Section Diagram 9-1: Heater position in the thermal water storage tank DisadvantageofUltraVoltaic • Consume enormous amount of electricity • Not a long term cost beneficial approach • Events of electrical cut or failure, electric boilers will be malfunction • Risk of electrical accident • Using electricity to generate hot water isn’t an eco-friendly approach due to the fact that electricity are produce by nuclear, coal, or gas Heat Pump System: Ultra Reverse, Electric Boiler System: Ultra Voltaic

  • 13.  At Water Systems & Service, we acquired all types of hot water systems to support the customers’ needs. As a hot water specialist, we consult our clients with the most suitable system. We can recover waste heat from various machinery such as air condition, air compressor, air dryer, boiler exhaust, chiller, and flash steam. When this heated water is supplied to the boiler, it uses less energy. The lower energy requirements means direct cost savings, which is important, as budgets get tighter. The following picture is an ideal concept project of Solar Thermal System and Wasted Heat Recovery System. This concept project is zero electric cost on water heating, lessen the workload of the boiler, increases the hot water capacity and temperature, rapid break-even point of below 3 years, and the operation lifetime of more than 50 years*. *having clean water supply and regular system maintenance CONCEPT Project CONCEPT: Solar Thermal Economizer Flash Steam Recovery Air Comp. • 16. Water Systems & Service Co., Ltd. | Website: www.watersystems.co.th | E-mail: info@watersystems.co.th | Tel: 02-551-2511-5 Solar Collector is the heart of solar thermal system, which carries fluid within the collector to be heated and use for further uses. In Solar Thermal System, there are 3 basic types of collector, flat plates, vacuum tubes, and concentrating collectors. Water Systems & Service have chosen flat plate as our main collector. Flat plate collectors are simple, requires low maintenance, and relatively inexpensive comparing to vacuum tubes and concentrating collectors. Solar Collector. Operations The solar collector was originally designed in Israel where natural environment such as high temperature, high humidity, high salinity, and sand storm highly affect the performance. Therefore, when the solar collector operates in Thailand, the product will have a longer usage due to the fact that Thailand’s natural environment is not as harsh as Israel. Moreover, the collectors have accredited ASHRAE Standard 93-77 to ensure its quality. Flat Plate Collector is the most efficient for installing in any facilities. The flat plate collector consists of an insulated box, with an absorber plate. The box may be glazed or unglazed (a transparent surface or uncover) with the cover of glass or plastic. In Water Systems & Service, we offered a glass glazed flat plate collector. The glazed traps the heat inside the insulated box to heat the absorber plate and glass, which is low in iron glass, allows a high transmission of solar radiation while minimizing heat loss. The absorber plate is what actually transfers the solar energy to the air or liquid passing through the solar collector. Because dark colors absorb more heat than light colors, the absorber contains dark in color. Flat Plate Collector Water Systems & Service Technologies
