This document provides instructions for uploading pilot-specific data to Common Services. The steps are to start the SMS application and log in, select local elevation model and rainfall time series data files to upload, start the upload process, and log off while keeping any background processes running. The upload accepts common data formats and provides progress notifications.

3. Start SMS, login There should be pictures on all this slides showing the details, but for the moment... Start SMS by clicking Sudplan-Logo on Desktop (Windows, Linux,..) Login with username / password Get the “Sudplan-Desktop”

4. Select local data A) Browse files on the disk or B) Select from data already locally available WITHIN SUDPLAN – containing name and metadata This is the way it is described in the Linz pilot definition

5. Start upload Click “upload”. Maybe this goes in the background? Progress-bar? Checkbox: Get notification when done?

6. Logoff Click “logoff” Keep actual state of “Sudplan desktop” ? Continue up-/or downloading? Models keep running in the background!
