 review of photographs over time including an innovative time lapse play back mode

SMART Pressure Ulcer Evaluation using WoundMAP in 5 steps
STEP 2 - Measure the wound
 Use our innovative caliper system to measure the wound - this system can be used to return to the
wound later to re-measure any part of the wound also.
 The program automatically records the wound measurements into the clinical assessment document
and graphs measurements over time to track wound progression.

STEP 3 - Assess the patient and the wound
 Patient assessment with Braden scale that calculates the score and automatically records the
measurements into the clinical assessment document. Also assess meds and psychosocial factors
 Assess the wound skin color, temperature, moisture, tunneling, undermining, etc. - this
information is automatically included in the clinical assessment document.

STEP 4 - Review the clinical assessment and care plan recommendations
 The program automatically recommends a care plan based on the assessment of the
patient and the pressure ulcer.

STEP 5 - Transmit the images
 E-mail the PDF Clinical Assessment in a password protected, encrypted, HIPAA
compliant format
 Print the PDF for inclusion into the patients chart or to mail.
 Scan the PDF and include in an EMR. Full EMR integration is being worked on.
