2. MEDICAL FABRICS, FOAMS, AND FILMS
The Adhesive Coated Products Group supplies pressure sensitive coated nonwoven and
woven fabrics to OEM and Converters for use in the medical industry. Typical end use
applications include Grounding Pads, Catheter and IV Holders, Medical Tape, EKG Pads,
Laminating Films, and Bandages.

SINGLE AND DOUBLE FACE TAPES
The Adhesive Coated Products Group works with our customers to design and develop
both single and double face tapes for use in a wide variety of end use applications.
Carriers and face stocks include paper, film, woven and nonwoven fabrics and woven
polypropylene fabrics.
CARPET TILE TAPES
The Adhesives Coated Products Group manufactures double face tapes for the installation
of carpet tiles or carpets in aircraft, industrial and residential applications. These double face
tapes use both acrylic and synthetic rubber based pressure sensitive adhesives and have a
polyester carrier.
WOVEN POLY TAPES
The Adhesive Coated Products Group manufactures a variety of polypropylene and
polyethylene woven tapes in a variety of colors and widths. The adhesive system used bonds
well to both polar and non-polar substrates, exhibits good UV resistance and will bond
across a wide spectrum of temperatures.
CUSTOM COATED PSA'S
We can apply synthetic rubber, acrylic or urethane pressure sensitive adhesives to your
substrate to meet the requirements of your end use application. We can tailor the adhesive
to meet your performance criteria.
Worthen's unique ability to combine film extrusion with the application of a
pressure sensitive adhesive allows us to offer valuable and unique products, as
well as custom-made products.
