The prop manager is responsible for managing all props needed for a performance, ensuring props are ready and placed correctly during planning and staging, and that props are safe to use. They take notes on actor prop needs, prepare props in the right areas before shows, and report to the director if a prop is missing to find an alternative solution. Health and safety of props is also a priority to ensure props are safe to handle and use appropriately.
