2. Byla jednou jedna zem. A v té zemi se ženy měly dobře.
There once was a realm, in which women lived well.

3. Ženy už nebavilo starat se o děti a o dům. Měly kolem sebe nepořádek a děti je zlobily.
Women got tired of taking care of kids and a house. All around them was chaos.

4. Dívky záviděly mládencům hrady, a tak si postavily také hrad. Nový hrad se jmenoval Děvín.
The women envied the forts of men, so they made a women´s fort, too. It was called Děvín (Maiden – fort).

5. Vlasta navrhuje válku mužům, jelikož pak budou vládnout ženy.
Vlasta, their chief, thought of a war with the men. She wanted the women to rule.

6. Když se mládenci dověděli, že jim dívky vyhlásily válku, tak se smáli, až se za břicho popadali.
When the boys found out that the girls declared war against them, they just laughed so hard they fell.

7. Ale holky se nenechaly odstrčit, a proto cvičily s mečem, lukem a s kopím, aby byly připravené na válku.
But the women didn´t care. They trained with swords and bows and lances, so they would
be prepared for war.

8. Dívky hodně bitev vyhrály, zkrátka jim to v bitvách šlo.
The battles were mostly won by women, in other words they were good with war.

9. Vlastu napadlo, že všechny muže nemůžou zabít ve válce. Takže dnešní akce bude zabít Ctirada lstí, díky Šárce.
Ženy přivázaly Šárku ke stromu a schovaly se za keř.
Vlasta had a theory that they couldn´t kill all the boys in war, so today´s project was to kill Ctirad,
one of the men´s chiefs. The women tied Šárka, a beautiful woman, to a tree, and hid in the bushes.

10. Šárka čeká a čeká, za chvíli přijíždí Ctirad a odvazuje plačící Šárku.
Šárka waits and waits and waits, and then Ctirad unties crying Šárka.

11. A v tu chvíli Šárka zavolala na dívky a ty vyskákaly z křoví a utloukly Ctirada.
Then Šárka calls out the women, jumped out of the bushes, ambushed and
killed Ctirad.

12. Muže zarmoutila smrt Ctirada tak, že se lépe připravili na válku a vyhráli nad ženami.
The men revenged Ctirad, they won the war with better defences than the women.

13. Dívky poznaly, že nemají nad muži žádnou šanci, a tak se vzdaly a začaly žít pod vládou mužů.
The women realized they were outnumbered, so they surrendered, they´d never rule.
