Kirsty is an Exercise Science major and manager at Family Dollar who enjoys sports. She provided information about women's rights in Slovakia. Slovakia gained independence in 1993 and its constitution guarantees equal rights for women and men. However, Slovakia is considering a concordat with the Vatican that could end the separation of church and state and eliminate women's rights to contraception and abortion, contradicting the constitution. If approved, the concordat would allow the Catholic church to hinder women's rights established in international agreements and the Slovakian constitution.
