TSWELLOPELE BRANDING ENTERPRISE hosted a Women Entrepreneurs Conference and Expo on August 26, 2016 to empower youth in the Free State with career and business opportunities. The event featured presentations from prominent speakers, exhibitors from various companies and organizations, and a pitch competition for aspiring young entrepreneurs where 4 candidates were shortlisted. The conference provided a platform for over 200 learners from rural schools to learn about available resources and connect with supporters of women entrepreneurs and youth development in the region.

from Thaba Nchu ‘Keamogetse Kenneth Ngakantsi (3rd
Year Internal Auditing) which received a
prize of R10 000 from Academic Development and Support a department aimed at development of
graduates in to global citizens at the Central University of Technology and got 3rd
prize in Free State
Social Enterprise Challenge which got the company winning R10 000 cash prize and R50 000 worth
of equipment ,
The company specialise in establishing libraries in disenfranchised public schools, hosting career
exhibitions to inform the learners with least support or information,entrepreneurship expos and
debate/ public speaking tournaments in school as well as in the university that are organised
workshops ,conventions ,training and competitions, It has erected a library in ST Augustines
Primary School at Thaba Nchu which should be replicated in the Motheo district as part of its
graduate attribute .
To empower the youth of Free State with information on the wide range of services
,opportunities, careers and assistance offered to them by government and non-government
institutions TSWELLOPELE BRANDING ENTERPRISE hosted the Women Entrepreneurs
Conference and Expo as part of its Woman month 2016 activities,
ACTIVITIES OF 26 AUGUST 2016
 Prominent keynote speakers were invited to inspire the young females
 Companies were invited to exhibit the services
 60 female learners were donated sanitary towels FNB Thaba Nchu branch partnered
up with us to carry out the sanitary towels project through
 7 rural area schools were invited represented b 25 learners each
 Female leaners who are aspiring entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas
 15 candidates had registered to pitch with others engaging in the conference
 Of the 15 candidates 4 were shortlisted
 Shortlisted candidates now stand a chance to win a tablet from Standard Bank
 Second prize will be the matric farewell attire which will be provided by a designer
who was among our exhibitors and volunteered to design exclusively for 2nd prize
 Of the shortlisted candidates one has been invited to a gala dinner by International
Labour Organisation and DESTEA FS were Kenneth Ngakantsi has been shortlisted and
could win R100 000, the trip is aimed at inspiring the leaners
