Current Website 5 most important tasks to be performed by users: 1)Contact: us this icon allows users to contact the corporate offices about job opportunities, company questions, or other information that is not available online. Also, customers may have issues that they wish to contact someone personally to resolve the issue. Contact is a quick list for specific contact numbers. 2)Search: the search bar allows users to find a specific product. This saves the user time if they know the exact product they are looking for.3)Find a store: this feature allows anyone interested in finding a store location to locate the store nearest to them. It provides the address, contact number, and store hours. 4)Weekly ads: weekly ads allow the customer to save on items throughout the week. This feature keeps users up-to-date on saving options for items. 5)Keep in touch: social media is relevant because society is very involved with technology and smart phones, allowing them to stay updated while on the go.

3. Re-Designed Website 1)Contact us: this tab is located at the bottom right-hand side of the website. It is very small and hard to locate. Therefore, it has been moved to the upper left hand corner for users to locate it more easily. 2)Search: the search bar has been reduced in size and the drop down box for categories within the search has been removed. The drop down box for categories is unnecessary because there is a large toolbar below the search box indicating drop down tabs for every category. 3)Find a store: this icon was located on the upper right side of the page, it was very tiny and grouped with other icons such as: gift cards, registries, and targetlists. Therefore, it has been relocated to the top left beside the relocated ‘contact’ icon. Users can now locate and use this icon more readily. 4)Weekly ads: the weekly ads icon/section needs to be larger and more visible to users. Since there is already an icon informing users of free shipping, The large promotion on shipping has been removed and replaced with a rotating weekly ad. The smaller banner that advertises the shipping promotion ads been move to the right side under the weekly ads icon. Also, one of the two ‘weekly ads’ has been removed since it is repetitive and takes up space. 5)Keep in touch: this section have been removed from the lower middle area and place in the upper right hand corner as a quick link. Since this information is located beside the search bar in the upper right hand, it will be noticed more quickly and attract users to become more involved with the company.
