The document discusses the installation of 3M Sun Control Window Film on a large office building in Los Angeles. The building's 25th and 26th floors had massive skylights that caused heat gain and glare issues for tenants. CBRE relocated its global headquarters to these floors but needed to address the comfort problems. 3M Window Film was chosen to reject heat and block glare while preserving views. It took scaffolding and a team a week to install the film on the 11,000 square feet of skylights. CBRE is now able to utilize the dramatic space without temperature or visibility issues.
Anchor Danly, a manufacturer and distributor, wanted to sell their recently vacated 37,570 square foot manufacturing facility that was specially suited for heavy manufacturing. CBRE prepared comprehensive documents and listed the property on their website to reach potential buyers. They received three solid offers within 10 days and the seller accepted an offer that closed within 38 days for $2,525,000, with $1,750,000 for the building. The client was pleased with CBRE's professionalism and ability to help maintain the relationship with the buyer.

The article discusses the construction of a new headquarters building for Bravo Target Safety in Lloydminster, Canada. CEO Craig Dore wanted to create an industry-leading office space to attract and retain talent. He worked with Scott Builders and an architect to design a 12,575 square foot building using Butler Manufacturing systems. The building features ample glass, bright branding, and Butler Thermawall wall and MR-24 roof systems to maximize energy efficiency. Dore was pleased with the functional and attractive building that has helped boost employee productivity.
When NCCM Company needed a new building, they developed a list of requests, including the need to accommodate expansion within five to ten years. The owners, Brent and Julie, toured industrial parks in River Falls, Wisconsin, and noticed a trend: many of the buildings were Butler® buildings. The Niccums decided to hire Derrick Building Solutions, a local Butler Builder®, for the job.
The new 15,000 square foot building for Green Tractors consolidates all of the farm equipment dealership's functions under one roof. It prioritizes year-round energy efficiency and comfort to combat the frigid winters and humid summers through features like an MR-24 roof system, ThermaLiner insulation system, and eShadowall wall system. The building also provides flexibility for various functional spaces through a Widespan structural system. Through its focus on sustainability, low maintenance, and energy savings, the new Butler building is designed to help Green Tractors be economically sustainable for the long term.

This report explores the significance of border towns and spaces for strengthening responses to young people on the move. In particular it explores the linkages of young people to local service centres with the aim of further developing service, protection, and support strategies for migrant children in border areas across the region. The report is based on a small-scale fieldwork study in the border towns of Chipata and Katete in Zambia conducted in July 2023. Border towns and spaces provide a rich source of information about issues related to the informal or irregular movement of young people across borders, including smuggling and trafficking. They can help build a picture of the nature and scope of the type of movement young migrants undertake and also the forms of protection available to them. Border towns and spaces also provide a lens through which we can better understand the vulnerabilities of young people on the move and, critically, the strategies they use to navigate challenges and access support.
The findings in this report highlight some of the key factors shaping the experiences and vulnerabilities of young people on the move – particularly their proximity to border spaces and how this affects the risks that they face. The report describes strategies that young people on the move employ to remain below the radar of visibility to state and non-state actors due to fear of arrest, detention, and deportation while also trying to keep themselves safe and access support in border towns. These strategies of (in)visibility provide a way to protect themselves yet at the same time also heighten some of the risks young people face as their vulnerabilities are not always recognised by those who could offer support.
In this report we show that the realities and challenges of life and migration in this region and in Zambia need to be better understood for support to be strengthened and tuned to meet the specific needs of young people on the move. This includes understanding the role of state and non-state stakeholders, the impact of laws and policies and, critically, the experiences of the young people themselves. We provide recommendations for immediate action, recommendations for programming to support young people on the move in the two towns that would reduce risk for young people in this area, and recommendations for longer term policy advocacy.
