  1. Who has time? Busy lives Starting and stopping many tasks
  2. Instant Knowledge Instant Food Instant Communication. No instant exercise. Walking 30 minutes can not be done in 3 inside of a microwave
  3. Our work styles are changing. Sitting at a desk Working on a computer. Stressful with no physical relief
  4. Our recreation times are changing Facebook Twitter Television Video Games Internet Surfing These are good hobbies for the brain, less so for the body
  5. How we live is changing. We drive to work, to shopping and to the gym. We drive to the gym to walk on a treadmill.
  6. Here is a map showing obesity trends. Notice the western states have less obesity right now.

  9. Portion sizes are increasing. Companies raise prices by raising quantities. Good for business, bad for health
