1. Why Visual Art?
I express my personality through Visual Art. I am very observant and see possibilities
everywhere. I seek out new experiences and are open to my emotions. I am resilient, have
healthy intellectual curiosity and not afraid to take risks. I am intrinsically motivated and have a
high-sensitivity to beauty.
Through capturing my daily experiences, I depict them through color, texture and abstract
expressions. I have had many opportunities to learn about the techniques of art under various
well known artists such as Aziza Hunter, Marvin Sinn and Wisnston Kennedy are just to name a
few.
I believe that by being a visual artist, I am able to understand and build a stronger connection
between children and nature. For over 25 years, I have had many opportunities to present my
visual art in the community as a workshop instructor, leader or career presenter.
In conclusion, I believe that Visual Art is shown within my personality because of its own unique
way of allowing me to capture my views of the world.
