4. “FROM THE TIME WE
ARE OLD ENOUGH TO
UNDERSTAND WE
FIND OURSELVES
CONTINUALLY TRYING
TO UNDERSTAND”
- DAVID A THOMAS
5. THE BIRTH
OF
“CAN YOU HEAR ME CRYING”
CAN YOU HEAR ME CRYING WAS BORN FROM THE PAIN OF BEING
MISUNDERSTOOD AND NOT KNOWING, WHICH IN TURN BROUGHT
ABOUT PAIN AND JUDGEMENT. AFTER REALIZING THAT MY INNER
CHILD WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE, ALSO KNOWN AS MY MIND AND
BODY, I DECIDED TO TURN THAT PAIN INTO A LOVE TO FIGHT FOR THE
HURTING MAN TO BE UNDERSTOOD.
PAIN HAS AND WILL NEVER BE A RESPECTOR OF GENDER, COLOR
OR SEXUALITY. PAIN IS BORN IN US AND CONTINUES IT GROWTH AS
WE GROW MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY.
THE PAIN I AM TALKING ABOUT IS THAT PAIN ROOTED DEEP IN THE
MIND THAT WILL RUIN RELATIONSHIPS, KEEP YOU UP AT NIGHT, AND
DOES NOT GO AWAY WITH PRAYER, PRESCRIPTIONS OR ALCOHOL.

7. Men never ask for help, While at the
same time struggling with the changing
definition of masculinity and asking
themselves the question: “What does it
mean to be a man in modern society”?
Somewhere along the line males
became less important than females,
Creating a climate where men are
teetering and struggling to find there
footing on unfamiliar ground, only to
realize that when they fall there is no
one there to catch them.

9. The Goal
Is to create common ground.
Working our way forward to
put emphasis on common
humanity, causing us to learn
to work together. This is
accomplished by
• Raising Awareness
• Educating Men and Young Boys in the
fact that they have a choice
• Engaging Men in Alternative World
Views
• Importance of Male Roles
We must lead from the front not from the rear. Knowing that every good leader was
once a good follower. So I ask you my brothers who are you following?
