Patience has loved animals from a young age and has always wanted to be a veterinarian, even though no one else in her family shares this dream. She currently has two pit bulls, Caesar and Kolby, who she has had for several years and helped save from an animal shelter. Saving Caesar in particular reinforced Patience's desire to become a veterinarian long-term in order to continue helping animals in need. Patience finds animals provide great companionship and help people in many ways, such as seeing eye dogs assisting the blind.

2.  Ever since I was a
little kid I have
loved animals, and
always wanted to be
around animals. I
have either had one
or more animals in
my house, like
bunnies, puppies
and cats, oh and a
hamster.

3. Ihave always
wanted to be a
veterinarian. No
one in my family
has ever really
wanted to be one,
so I am trying to
go with my own
dream.

4.  Caesarand Kolby
are now my two
dogs. They are
both pit-bulls and
they both sort of
make me want to
be a me want to
be a vet, they are
the nicest dogs
ever!

5.  When I have been
at my past three
schools I have had
a number of
different animals
and my favorite
would be Ceasar.
He is a pit-bull and
we have had him
for 4 years now.

6. . We saved Ceasar
from an animal
shelter that was
going to be putting
him down just
because he is a pit-
bull. And when we
saved him I knew
right then and there
that I was going to
be a vet for my life
time career.

7.  We have saved a
lot of animals in
the past and it has
been the best
experience of my
life. I have always
loved being with
animals.

8.  They are the best
just to be able to
have someone to
talk to. They are
always there to
listen

Seeing eye dogs,
help the blind so it
can help out a lot.

house. Or he is

be able to save me
when we are on a
