Today, psychology is defined as
"the scientific study of behavior and mental

The way in which an animal or person acts
in response to a particular situation or
stimulus.
Mental process (cognitive function)
include perception, memory, ideation,
imagination, belief, reasoning, emotion.
Sometimes the term is used instead.
