A 11 year old male undergoing chemotherapy is prone to aplastic anemia. Chemotherapy can damage the bone marrow and reduce blood cell production, leading to aplastic anemia. A 21 year old male with injuries from a car crash and a 50 year old woman with H pylori infection are not cases that are prone to aplastic anemia. A 4 year old child with malnutrition could be at risk for other issues but not specifically aplastic anemia.
