Are you living this in your work? If others asked you what drives you to achieve, would the
answer be obvious? The triggers that motivate people to achieve are unique for everyone.
Many would say its money; more people are starting to claim that they are driven to make
a difference. Regardless of what motivates you and drives you to reach peak performance
– it must be managed and balanced. Too much motivation in one area will weaken other
parts of your game.
Motivation has been studied for decades and leaders in the workplace have used
assessments like DISC and Myers-Briggs to determine their employee’s personality types
to better anticipate behaviors and tendencies. Additionally, motivational books are used
as tools to get employees to increase their performance and / or get them back on track.
While assessments, books and other tools can help project and inspire short and long

What Does It Take To Be An Entrepreneur
1. Countless institutes and individuals have asked the million dollar question over the years.
What distinguishes an entrepreneur? What traits or characteristics are inherent in a
successful entrepreneur, and are those traits inherited? There's good news! Every day, new
successful entrepreneurs are born!
Some believe that an entrepreneur is born, whereas others believe that an entrepreneur can
be taught. Some people believe that an entrepreneur is similar to an artist in that you either
have it or you don't. Some regard entrepreneurs as focused, disciplined, competitive, and
charismatic leaders, while others regard them as huge risk takers. And, to some extent, all of
these analogies are correct.
True, all successful entrepreneurs share a few characteristics and skills that enable them to
succeed. These innate qualities can be taught; however, they frequently appear to be an
innate driving force that sends individuals down the path of being in business or formally
training for a career in business.
Entrepreneurs have a unique perspective on the world. They are able to view the world as a
system. They have the ability to see something in its entirety and as a cohesive unit, and
they appear to be able to see opportunity within the larger picture. They are known as
system thinkers.
They also have other characteristics. Entrepreneurs have a strong desire to succeed and are
often fiercely competitive with themselves. They are constantly trying to outthink themselves
and others, and they are always looking for an advantage. This is a natural process that is
the driving force behind the majority of entrepreneurs.
They are determined and dedicated to following through on commitments, and they always
appear confident and in command. You will notice that they have a positive atmosphere as
well. They believe I can and will succeed. They are not afraid of failure because it is not a
word in their vocabulary or an option.
