Women’s Federation for World Peace Europe - Building a culture of peace
 VISION
• “.. going beyond a century
of power and technology,
women will be the central
axis in building a century
characterized by its loving,
peaceful culture, and their
role will be more
important than ever
before.”
• “…Our priority should be
creating a true family
movement that
emphasizes living for the
sake of others, based on
true love,…”
WFWPI Founders, July
2012 at the Inaugural
meeting for GWPN
 STRATEGY TO BUILD
COMMUNITIES OF HEART
AND PEACE
I. Personal development
“We must define what it is to be a true mother
and true wife through attending True Mother…”
II. Family: “…creating a true family movement.”
“We must realize ideal families through true
love movement. Then, we must wage the fight
in every part of society, to realize the true love
of living for others’ sake, so that we may realize
world peace.”
III. European/Global identity and influence
“I believe the time has now come for us to step
forward boldly and receive new opportunities
and values.”

“Keep us in your mind please this Saturday. This will be our first GWPN
conference with the subtitle "Let´s Share 1% of our Love to Create Heaven
on Earth!". We do have seven to eight lecturers there - women who are
active and have initiated great projects in the society. One lecturer is a top
personal motivator, has read Father´s autobiography and is very
supportive. I want her to see the presentation to be able to be in one line
with us - also while lecturing. She can support us a lot as she is very clear
minded and an experienced lady.
Altogether we are almost 40 (15 UC sisters, others are other women). The
purpose of the conference is to truly initiate GWPN, as Father was talking
about in July 2012 and True Mother is encouraging us all the time.”

invited by Victoria Kiomo Ezewoko, Peace Ambassador
and President of the Nigerian Women Association, to
attend a party she organized to celebrate the
establishment of the mini-basketball GREEN TEAM
NIGERIA. Main representatives of the Nigerian
Community, both religious ministers of different
denominations and faiths and representatives of
different ethnic groups, were present.
Elisabetta Nistri expounded on the fact that diversity
should not be a reason for division, but a source of
exchange and enrichment. In fact, through this event she
personally could experience many deep aspects and
traditions in the African community. After introducing
the purposes and activities of WFWP, she explained that
the ideal of Dr.HakJa Han Moon encouraged all women
to become world leaders with the a mother’s heart. She
suggested to hold a sisterhood ceremony between
Italian and Nigerian women. Her speech was very much
appreciated by the main leaders attending the event.

• WFWP Norway: A jointly UPF/ WFWP sponsored
afternoon, under the theme, “Relevant Perspectives of
the Family in 2014.”. Steinar Murud, leader of UPF
Norway, was MC and gave the background history of the
day. The first speaker, Maria Sammut representing the
Catholic Church, spoke about the church’s project, “The
Year of the Family 2014.” Turid Noack, a senior
researcher at Statistics Norway, then told of how the
family is doing today statistically. Today’s family life is
characterized by more variation in relationship types,
more frequent breakups, and more of both coupled and
single periods throughout one’s life. A coffee break was
had, whereby homemade goodies were offered to the
guests, after which Professor Frode Thuen gave his
thoughts on the challenges and possibilities in family
and relationships. The family constitutes an important
part of the foundation our society stands upon and has
functions that no state can take over. We hope that this
marking of the UN Day of the Family can contribute to
the positive development of all couples and families in
Norway.- submitted by Marea Toresen (WFWP Norway,
Secy.), Oslo.

Women’s Federation forWorld Peace Europe - Building a culture of peace Norway 20.05.2014 • WFWP Norway: A jointly UPF/ WFWP sponsored afternoon, under the theme, “Relevant Perspectives of the Family in 2014.”. Steinar Murud, leader of UPF Norway, was MC and gave the background history of the day. The first speaker, Maria Sammut representing the Catholic Church, spoke about the church’s project, “The Year of the Family 2014.” Turid Noack, a senior researcher at Statistics Norway, then told of how the family is doing today statistically. Today’s family life is characterized by more variation in relationship types, more frequent breakups, and more of both coupled and single periods throughout one’s life. A coffee break was had, whereby homemade goodies were offered to the guests, after which Professor Frode Thuen gave his thoughts on the challenges and possibilities in family and relationships. The family constitutes an important part of the foundation our society stands upon and has functions that no state can take over. We hope that this marking of the UN Day of the Family can contribute to the positive development of all couples and families in Norway.- submitted by Marea Toresen (WFWP Norway, Secy.), Oslo.
