3. The flag of the Republic is tri colour. It is made of three horizontal and equal
stripes of red, blue and orange. The national coat of arms of Armenia new and
old symbols and consists of many components: an eagle and a lion, ancient
Armenian symbols, Mount Ararat, the symbol of the Armenian nation with
Noah’s ark on its peak and symbols of old Armenian dynasties, the four
independent Armenian kingdoms in the history of Armenia, the Arshakouniants,
Artashesiants, Bagratouniants and Roubiniants kingdoms.

4. Holy Echmiadzin is the spiritual symbol of the nation. Mount Ararat is
everywhere, in the Armenian language, poetry, memory and life.
Սուրբ Էջմիածինը հայ ազգի հոգևոր խորհրդանիշն է: Արարատ
լեռը ամենուր է` հայոց լեզվի մեջ ու պոեզիայում, հիշողության
մեջ և կյանքում:
5. Yerevan (former names include Erebuni and Erivan) is the largest city and the 13th
capital of Armenia. It is situated on the Hrazdan River, and is the administrative,
cultural, and industrial centre of the country. Yerevan is a big and beautiful city and has
a population of more than a million and a quarter. If you want to see the wholeof
Yerevan go up to the Victory park and see the whole city at the foot of gorgeous Ararat.
Երևանը (նախկինում կոչվում էր Էրեբունի և Էրիվան) Հայաստանի
ամենամեծ քաղաքն է և 13-րդ մայրաքաղաքը:Այն գտնվում է Հրազդան գետի

6. The Republic of Armenia is a mountainous country between the Black
Sea and the Caspian Sea in the Southern Caucasus. It borders Turkey to
the west, Georgia to the north, Azerbaijan to the east, and Iran to the
south.

7. The country of lakes, rivers and springs is also rich in mineral waters. In Jermuk, Bjni,
Dilijan and other resorts you can treat different diseases by taking a bath in mineral
waters.There are 10 natural lakes on the territory of Armenia. Among them Lake Sevan
is a lake of mysteries. The name Sevan is of Urartian origin – Siuna means country of
lakes. Lake Sevan is the world’s second largest highland fresh water lake.

8. Walk in the streets of Armenian towns that are full of greenery. Each of them is like a
garden where you can extend your hand and pick up a mulberry or a cherry, a peach or
an apricot or grapes. Goris is a town-orchard. Yeghegnadzor is full of fruit trees. Dilijan
with its unique and picturesque nature, gorgeous sights of Ghiumri famous for its
anecdotes and jokes. The town of Artik is famous for its tufa stone, the main
construction material. It has about forty colour shades.
