Rehearsal Procedure
Podium procedure
 Stay seated during rehearsal
 No talking when the director is teaching
 Please ask questions AFTER class or see
another director
 Put instrument and music away after
rehearsal. Percussion cover/put away the
last instrument you played.

 2 Units per Trimester w/ Due Dates
Pass-Off at school in lessons

Grading for Units
 50 points per Unit
 2 Units each Trimester
 -4 points for each exercise not
completed
 Complete them on-time
School-Owned InstrumentsTuba, Baritone, Trombone, Horn, Tenor
Sax, Bari Sax, Bass Clarinet
 You may use a school instrument
instead of bringing yours back and
forth to school, since it is rather large

 March in Homecoming Parade with
BHS Marching Band
 Memorize "Batavia Loyalty"
 Combined rehearsal: 9/5 @5:00pm
 Homecoming Parade: 9/9 @5:00pm
Turn in this form!
 Everyone fills out the 1st box
 Mark your shirt size, only if you need one
(new student, lost, out-grown, etc...)
 8th graders only fill out 3rd box
 Due by Friday, August 29th!

 Fun all-day band festival!
 One of the best bands you will play in!

 Attend the help sessions from 3-4pm starting
