a particular geographical area. While Health is a condition of complete
physical, mental, social and well-being and not merely the absence of any
disease.
Community health focuses on sustainable community efforts to promote,
protect and solve problems affecting their health conditions.
Environmental health is the branch of public health that focuses on the
interrelationships between people and their environment, promotes human
health and well-being, and fosters healthy and safe communities.
There are ten characteristics of a healthy community from the (WHO) World
Health Organization.
