2. Birth in Early Life
Wayne played hockey when he was young.
He was born in Brantford, Ontario on
January 26, 1961. He wanted to be in NHL
when he was young. He learned to play
hockey on his pond.
3. Adolescence/Adulthood
He was very passionate about the game.
He started playing in the NHL in 1917. At the age of
17 he signed a four year contract worth $875,000.
He was named WHA Rookie of the year .
4. Accomplishments
He is know as the greatest Hockey player of
all time.
He scored 61 goals and 92 assists in 51 games. His
team the oilers won the Stanley Cup in 1983. He
won the Hall of Fame award too.
