Over four years at the University of Oklahoma, the individual gained extensive volunteer experience and campus involvement. As a freshman, they participated in numerous volunteer activities benefiting those with disabilities and raised funds for charitable causes. Their sophomore year, they took on leadership roles within their fraternity and continued regular volunteer work. In their junior and senior years, they held officer positions with various honors, business, and ministry organizations while continuing to volunteer regularly. They also tutored elementary students and increased their fundraising efforts for charitable causes.

Students In Action is a national youth volunteer leadership, recognition and reward program, designed to pass the tradition of service on to the next generation.
Co-developed by Jefferson Awards for Public Service and Deloitte, it is now in over 250 High Schools.
Each spring, Student Leaders from the participating schools compete in regional competitions. They are asked to report on the implementation of the program, and the impact they've had, both in their schools and within their communities.

professionals, administrators, library support staff, teacher-librarians to attend and participate in a one-day seminar on a topic “Why Libraries Should include Graphic Novels in their Collection”.
The seminar specifically aims to:
a. Provide participants with a good understanding of the importance of graphic novels in the library.
b. To understand the role of graphic novels in the promotion of reading.
c. To learn how to evaluate graphic novels for inclusion in the library’s collection.
This seminar will be on July 24, 2015, from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM at San Beda College Alabang, Multipurpose Hall. The registration fee is Php 500.00 for non-members and
Php 350.00 for members, inclusive of two (2) snacks, lunch, and certificate of participation.
