Vivansa (www.vivansa.com) is a professional IT company
delivering end-to-end integrated services to its Customers.

Vivansa has developed a strong competence in the field of e-
Customs through its participation to large-scale projects
launched by the European Commission (e.g. EMCS, CCN/CSI,
CUST-DEV2) in partnership with leading actors of the IT
market. Vivansa has gained the confidence of the involved
stakeholders (European Commission, national Customs
authorities, Economic Operators) with respect to a shared
vision for providing e-Customs solutions as well as trusted
service provider.

Vivansa places innovation at the heart of its development
strategy and has demonstrated its ability to deliver turn-key
business solutions that directly satisfy the customer’s need in
vertical markets (e.g. XSIZETM business solution for EMCS,
LXR.CCNTM multi-application connector for CCN/CSI, ELLiXXiRTM
e-Customs Community Initiative).

Since its establishment in 2001, Vivansa has a constant growth
of 31% GMCA and annual revenue of €1.1M in FY2009. About
30% of the revenue base is recurring, deriving from the
upgrade and maintenance of turn-key solutions as well as sub-
contracting activities to major IT companies.

The company employs 15 people mainly located at its
headquarter in Brussels-Wavre, Belgium, and has opened in
2008 a subsidiary in Moscow, Russia.

The potential for Vivansa’s growth is based on:

European reforms implementation following MASP
orientations)

Our Organisation
The Vivansa’s Board of Directors
consists of the CEO and four
other key executives (i.e. Unit
Directors). The Management
Board is responsible for the
general management of the
company’s business and focuses
on developing the company,
including very high-level
customer relationships,
negotiation of partnerships and
alliances and development of
specialised businesses.

Vivansa delivers its services via
three operational units working in
constant collaboration:

• IT Services & Solutions Unit, which delivers:
o Transformation and Operations services in vertical
markets (mainly in the field of electronic Customs) in
both public and private sectors,
o Turn-key realisations and assistance to organisations
that are seeking for complete solutions for their e-
Business initiatives;

• IT Security Unit, which provides Information Security
Services built upon four complementary areas of expertise:
Security Domain Modelling, Risk Management, Business
Continuity Planning, Audit / Security Surveys;

• IT Research & Development Unit, which proposes
innovative solutions and different business models that help
keep our Customers ahead of the game.

Those three main operational units are supported by
decisional/organisational units, including:

ACTIVITY The EURUTIP (EU ↔ RU Transit Integration
Platform) project consists in implementing a SOA-
based platform allowing the interoperability of the
Russian Transit System (ATS-2) and the European
Transit system (NCTS). The first phase consists in
implementing a prototype and in demonstrating its
capability to the Russian Federal Customs Services
(FCS) in Moscow. The second phase (Q1/2009) of
this project aims at implementing the live EURUTIP
platform at the FCS.
