Restructuring and VITO growth
In order to strengthen and grow the sales in Germany, the sales
concept has been restructured. "The target is to focus our sales
work even more on our existing customers, as well as on retailers
and on key accounts," says Alexander Schauf, Sales Manager
Germany. Consequently we were welcoming Ms. Kübler in the
German sales team. In addition, a new trainee, a student and a new
employee in marketing joined the VITO team!
Trade Shows
We were represented at several trade shows,
such as Gulfood Manufacturing in Dubai or
Anuga in Cologne. At HOST Milano,
we even succeeded to win the
SmartLabel Award with the product
innovation VITO VL, which we
presented for the first
time this October!
The trade shows went well for VITO. There were
significantly less visitors attending the shows, but
the sales closing rate was still positive.
Projects and customers
This year we were able to complete a successful
project with VITO X series with an Australian oil
supplier. In addition, we were able to equip some
smaller chains in Chile, Guatemala and Canada
with VITO oil filters. Furthermore, we are excited
about a good cooperation with several big
American fast food and family restaurant chains.
We also managed to equip some of the biggest
cruise line ships this year with the VITO products!
Outlook
We are looking forward to 2022 and are planning
major projects in Europe and South America. In
addition, we look forward to meeting you in
person again at many local trade shows and
events!

Despite the
circumstances, some VITO
business partners were
able to visit us this year at
our headquarters in
Germany, which was
always a highlight!
Christmas and the new year are approaching – we look back on
many eventful months. Last year was full of changes for VITO!
The year started with many online and remote trainings and
webinars, which we developed based on the situations in many
countries. They turned out to be a success and we will maintain
them as part of the sales and marketing promotions at VITO.

The cooperation between the Marriott Group and
VITO has now been running for over 10 years.
The approval and recommendation of the VITO
product line for Marriott was recently renewed in
November for another year.
"We are happy that we will continue to equip the
largest global hotel chain with the VITO product line
and are confident that more successful years of
cooperation are ahead of us," says Key Account
Manager and Export Manager Sina Maier.
The success story
In 1927, J. Willard Marriott opened his first root
beer stand, equipped with just nine bar chairs. This
later evolved into the "Hot Shoppes" restaurant
chain. Over the next 58 years, he created the
Marriott brand. The original guiding principles
remain embedded in the company's culture today.
Today, the company manages 30 brands with more
than 7,000 hotels in 131 countries, forming the
strongest portfolio in the industry.
