2 Mai is a village in Constanta County, Romania founded in 1887 on the Black Sea coast between Mangalia and Vama Veche. It was established by Mihail Kogălniceanu and originally settled by Russians and Lipovans, and later by Romanians from other regions. The main occupations are agritourism, fishing, and agriculture. It has become a resort known for its quiet beaches and proximity to the popular resort of Vama Veche, offering hotels, hostels, and campsites for accommodation and restaurants and bars for visitors.
