Refers to new (2016) Wider World and the very old Foundations books, you could replace these with your own texts I am sure. Also the umbrella shop idea is from a lesson I saw on the TES but now cannot re-find and so cannot credit

8. weather Weather in spring is actually quite warm but due to global warming it is not as hot as it used to be. In 2004 spring was very hot it reached 17 °c. In 2005 spring it was quite warm it reached 13°c.
